Camp Keokea

What a beautiful day in Keokea.
We started the day on the playground, and we quickly got into art projects. There were collages of the fly trap variety, and much gluing and coloring ensued. Creativity, and imagination were in full force.

Then we were off for our hike. We explored the perimeter of the back of the park, and had fun finding new paths, and seeing how far away the playground was that we could still see.

After a good lunch we gained the energy to play and run, and even found time to feed the horses in the nearby pasture. We met several children, and their families, and had a great time socializing with new friends.

Creative Play

The store in town.
Last week I had a chance to work with a very creative child by the name of Alani. We made a town, and litterally played our game for almost five hours. The importance of imagination was shown to me through this experience.
The back of the house at the restaurant.
My work can take me into the minds and ideas of such bright children. Photos of our big party in the big house in town coming soon.
