What's Up?

Hello there!
How are you?
I am doing really well. Recently I started a long term substitute position at Fun, 2, 3 Preschool for my friend Vicki. It is great being back with the little one's. I have taken on the morning shift, and I really enjoy being with the children up until lunch daily. We are learning about colors currently, and it is a lot of fun. I also get to take the children up to the Kula Hospital to visit with the residents, and do projects together every Thursday. Working with the elderly and the preschoolers is very special. In fact it brings me to tears every time. I am so thankful to be able to help out Vicki, the children, and myself all at the same time.
A beautiful rainbow over Haleakala Waldorf last week.

After School Care at Waldorf is going a lot better these days. While I was injured with my foot problems (not related to my bicycle injuries) I wasn't able to play with the children for fear of never recovering. Now that I have taken the time to heal, I am back playing dodge ball, kick ball, and simply just running around with all the children. I love being active with the children! It is a blast. Homework help has become a regular part of my duties, and I enjoy being able to connect academically with the children. Substituting has also become a big part of my schedule. Getting into the classrooms is always a pleasure. I have great position(s) at the school, and that I am truly thankful for.

Matt and I have been working very hard on selling our house full of his inspirational and stunning artwork. eCrater, and holtongallery.com have been the main online venues we are using. Working together is not easy, but it is always rewarding. Matt and I have had a hard time finding a partnership in the inner workings of Holton Gallery, but with productive dialog we have come to a great meeting place.
