Today I saw Dr. Clarke after my 6 week respite. In that time, I accomplished opening my jaw another millimeter and a half. Not too bad indeed.
So, the appointment has been made for my teeth implants! I am all set for the end of June, the morning of the 28th. This work is in my gums, at the root, so after the implants are in place the mouth has to heal, and will actully take in the titanium, and make it a part of me. Only after I heal can the porcelain teeth be connected. Crazy. We won't be sure if I need any grafting until the procedure is in process. So it could take "embarrassingly short, to 2 hours" as Dr. Clarke put it. Another 4-6 weeks from then, I will finally have my new set of permanent teeth; complete with bridge and crowns. This part of the plan will be completed by my other doctor Dr. Vallejos. Hopefully our plans will come together nicely, in a good time-frame.
So I am pleased! The timing to use the fact I have no front teeth for Halloween, and permanents by my 34th year is right on track!
