Pay Back!

"Dear Payee:
A refund is being generated to you within 6 weeks due to an overpayment. The details of the refund is listed below."

Don't you just love the sound of that?! It's awesome when receiving a slew of bills, to get a check! When I saw the letter head of Maui Memorial my heart sank a bit. Then upon looking closer at the envelope, I noticed in the little window it said, "pay to the order of"! Neato!
I have been continuing to do my jaw exercises once or twice a week, and eating is getting better and better.

I ran into the director of Fun, 2, 3 this weekend, and I'm all set to go back to work next month. I will be starting back the week of May 10. So excited! Thank you Vicki!

I also wanted to give a "happy wedding" to my friend Gayle! Also, big congratulations to Seth and Olivia! I hope to see you all soon!

Merrie Monarch Festival!

The Merrie Monarch Festival: streaming live on KFVE: (push play, as the player does not automatically load)!

When I first visited Maui in the Spring of 2005, I was able to catch a few hours of this amazing hula festival. It is amazing display of  culture, music, and dance. King David Kalakaua, who was know as the Merrie Monarch loved the world of art. It is held in Hilo on the big island of Hawai'i.
It is inspirational and truly amazing to watch the participants, and listen to the stories from the islands.

I hope you have time to check it out! It is tonight until midnight, and continues for the next two days. I realize this is more difficult on the mainland, but trust me it's worth it no matter what time it is!

I had a fantastic visit with Dr. Clarke yesterday. I opened up to 31 and 1/2 mm (that's 1/2mm more than last week). This was unexpected,
